Prefolds as Mama Pads?

I have some surplus CPF in infant and premium size. Can I use these as postpartum pads? Can I wash them with my precious kissaluvs w/o the diapers getting all stained? Would I need to wear a cover? I wonder if a big ole CPF would just stay put in my underwear?

I bet the infant ones would just stay in your underwear (might look a bit bulky, though!). And for washing, I would rinse or soak in cold water and then throw in the machine with the diapers.If you put them straight in with the dipes, the stain won't come out.
