YAYYYYYYYYYYY ANNE!

I KNEW that leaking milk had to mean something!!!! Yay! I'm so happy for you!

Michelle - my thesis is going to be on religion in the novels of George Eliot... well, it's more specific than that, but sort of complicated, so if you want to know more I will write more!

Meli - I thought that was so sweet about Miles and his ballet shoes.

crap...schuy just busted his lip..inside and out he slipped off a push car he was crawling behind and cut the outside of his lip, sortof on his chin, which is pretty small cut. The inside of his lip looks awful, like he bit it.

all i cold see was blood everywhere...i thought, dear God, I am going to have to take him BACK to childrens hospital for stitches....I gave him a cold drink to help stop the bleeding, and put neosporin on it. he seems ok and went on to sleep///grrrrrrrr. i hate it when they get hurt!

Anne - Congratulations! Woo-hoo!!! :

Bamamom - how's the little one? any better?

Transition to daycare day 4 for me...DD is sooooo attached to me. I haven't left for more than 2 minutes (went to the car to get a sippy cup), she cried the entire time I was gone. We hang out there for a couple of hours every day so that she is used to the environment. She's used to it, just not used to me not being there. I'll be leaving her next week for 15-20 minutes, we'll see how she does....man, this is tough...why haven't I won that lottery yet??

ANNE!! OMG YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO happy for you guys!

Bama for Schuy. How's he feeling? I hate when they get hurt too.

Congratulations Anne!

Bama....aw, poor Schuy. Cully did the same thing a couple weeks ago except it was his forehead that took the whack, and no blood. I hate hate hate hate seeing blood on them. Poor baby. Hope he's feeling better.

Kat's mommy - I'm sorry the day was rough re: daycare. Cully has taken it upon himself to WAIL whenever I leave him with his babysitter. And literally, after I shut the front door, he's fine (I've stood on the porch to listen through the window). Hopefully Kat will adjust quickly.

Michelle (mclisa) - picture of tattoos: this is the best one I have of my sleeve, and it's from last summer when I was pregnant.

This one is my daughter's birthday (which cullen's will be added to, so it'll be a continuous string of numbers around my arm). I don't have any pictures of the one on my back.

Grace - what was going on with the swat team?!?

i switched it to see if anyone would notice. it's a spoonerism (like saying "bappy hirthday") and it's his only nickname.

selena- sounds interesting. i have never read george eliot (but i do know she's a woman!) but now i might have to pick up a book. which would you recommend?

oya oya- i want to take a min. to complain. dh is just driving me crazy! he is staying at the house of our friend while he is teaching for three weeks in the city. she is in africa picking up her adopted baby- so exciting. so, he has TOTALLY taken advantage of the situation and was, without telling her, planning on having eisa and i AND the cat stay too! and not only that, he wanted her roomate to watch our cat while we are in seattle! so, i have obviously been against all of this and even bought a ticket to ohio so that i wouldn't be staying there. so, he called the roomate and found out that she hates cats so he does't ask about the seattle time, but still asks if he can bring her while im'm in ohio. she is also a non-native speaker so she was even confused and thinking that eisa and i are coming too. so, she sais "ok" to everything to hilger and then writes our friend in africa in a panic. and then our friend writes us like "wtf is all of this?" i just feel so humiliated. also, i had all of this great stuff planned to do while she was gone- cook some meals for the freezer, clean really well, put up a child safety stuff..... and now, instead of seeming like a good friend, i feel like i have taken advantage of the whole situation. and hilger insisted on writing her back (she is tecnicly his friend) but the letter is so bad

: thankfully the dollar tree has tests or i'd be super broke!

...so just after reading abut schuy, spud whacks his lip on the entertainment set trying to yank the corner protecters off: i put them on yesterday when he almost got bonked. so my safety device actually caused and accident

mamita, i noticed luis' name change a long time ago but i thought you were just being goofy

someone came to look at our house today! our first official showing. i hope they liked it! and...............the latest house we put an offer in on has decided to work with us! they made a counter offer that we feel is way to pricey so we're going to counter them and see what happens. normally i wouldn't mind but this house has been vacant for over a year (a forclosure) and there's a dead bird in one of the bedrooms. it's going to take a bit of cosmetic work to get things up to par. oddly though, dh and i love remodeling. we've done so much to this house that we're up for a new challenge!

Anne : : :

Bama :

Emmy, I don't think I ever saw your sleeve in all its glory, wow!

Selena, I'd love to hear more about your thesis! I have a funny story to tell about Middlemarch when I have a few minutes one day ....

Mcs : Where are you going to be in Ohio? Anywhere near Cleveland? I'd love to see you!

Yeah, that Miles in his ballet shoes . He was so excited about them, and I was terrified that he'd be teased and he'd never wear them again. One of my first steps as a homeschooler was to sign him up for a new class : at the School of Fine Arts here in town. They have a Preschool Arts class this summer which has music, art, and dance components, and they ask that the kids wear shoes that they can actually dance in (i.e. not sneakers). I'd love for him to continue in dance ... might go well with his "artistic temperament."

Melissa, we will be in Cleveland next year. We were supposed to make the trip this fall but it's not in the cards. Alex is a die-hard Browns fan, and my best friend and his family live in Lakewood, so we have reason to visit!
