SA- do you have a garage? that's where we put all our guests

grace-OMG. that's crazy. i'm waiting for the day the cops decide to come after the druggies at the end of our block.

hattoo-i'm due the end of feb. so far i just feel really tired and bloated. although my allergies are acting up again so that's not helping the situation:

i am installing the brand new freaking $100 baby gate, and guess what...the measurements were wrong...I screwed these screws into the wall according to their template, and it was too low. so i moved th em up, and it tore a big chunk out of the wall

i am so freaking good at technical stuff, too. i can put anything together, and this is just makingme mad. our house is built so that there are no two opposing walls....everything that has a wall to put a gate against has a door opposite....so i bought one of those gates that swing out...has three panels

http://www.securebaby.com/sb07160.html

it is so freaking hard to put in...it has wall anchors to put in the holes that you drill, IF you're not drilling straight into wood. I thought that the spots i had chosen were studs, and not wallboard. OBVIOUSLY NOT! So now I have to start over in a new spot..making more holes in the walls...

geez, that's a mondo gate!

in other news....the morning sickness has arrived:Puke no actual vommiting but i feel like i'm going to all the time. i also need to go find a swim suit to wear next week. : ds has been a morbidly screechy toddler today. everything would piss him off and make him yowl. PLUS, he's been biting everything/one. he put another scratch in our dark wook entertainment set. dh is pissed. he did it while i was rinsing his dipe in the bathroom. currently though, dh has him and they went to Papa Murphys to get us a pizza for dinner. *whew* i have to pack everything for next week this weekend. ds and i will be gone for 2 weeks and i have to get dh's stuff for vacation as well as his business trip packed into seperate bags. he's not been allowed to pack for himself since we went to Jamaica and he brought 9 pairs of socks but only 2 pairs of shorts and not enough shirts and no dress clothes who the heck needs 9 pairs of socks in the tropics? he never wore a single pair the whole time we were there

Quiet here!

That's quite a picture, Bama

Nothing to report here. Danny is pointy-pointing to everything, wanting to touch it. Cute but it gets old.

I'm new here, but am I right to assume this is a thread for people with babies born last June?

Ok! I didn't want to burst in here and be all out of place!

My son's name is Seth and his birthday was June 7th. He's the cutest little thing in my opinion, although he isn't really little anymore. He's about 25lbs now, was 9lbs 8oz at birth! He is such a handful. He's been walking for about 2 1/2 months now, and is trying to talk. His favorite word lately is "ca-ca." Fun!

Oh yeah, and me. I'm 21, my name is Amanda and I'm from Mississippi.

caca like poop? that's the word we use for poop here.
woot, another young one. i'm michelle, also 21. fey (fuzzypeach) is around here somewhere, she's 21 too. luis (my son) is not yet walking, but he's taken some steps and is starting to do it more consistently. he loves his crawling, man, the kid can RUN by crawling. he's talking more than walking, by far. he says gata, hi, up, down, agua. i'm SAH now, but am going back to college in september.
bama will be excited that we have another southerner.

welcome amanda!

welcome! we can be a bit crazy at times...i loved biloxi.. i had someone at keesler when i was younger....

Yes, caca like poop! Its embarassing because there are a lot of Spanish speaking people around here!We were just in Walmart tonight and he was just screaming "caca!!!" as loud as he could! But yeah, he loves his walking and running and is now starting to try to talk more. His first word was boob. lol. But he can say mama, dada, baba, dog, no, papa. Just the basics I guess.

Thats awesome I'm not the only young one! Or the only Southerner! lol.

Welcome Amanda! I'm Heather, definitely not 21:, mother to Sage who turned 1 on June 4th. She's been walking for about 3 weeks now and going through the school of hard knocks in a bad way.

I just got her to bed and am running myself a bath with "Solitude" Bath Salts by Rocky Mountain Soap Co. This stuff is addictive. My cousin bought me some soap, salts and body butter for Christmas and I'm thinking of admitting myself to rehab! It's lusciously beautifyingly sinfully good.

welcome Amanda! we talk a lot so beware!
i'm semi-young (24 ) and expecting our 2nd dc in February!

talking question-is my ds the only one who's not talking? he can say mama really well, occasionally dada but that's it. he does use signs though so does that count? he can sign more, up, and all done.
