What do you use for mopping? I tried mopping with straight vinegar/water, and the floor definitely did not get as clean as it does when I use a few squirts of Murphy's Oil. Then I added some Dr. Bronner's and the vinegar killed the sudsing, so I was left with oily feeling water
Our kitchen floor has several patches where the top layer has worn away, so those spots pick up a lot of dirt and get kind of gross. Suggestions?
Also, what can I use for mirrors and glass? Straight vinegar? I find I'm cleaning with a kiddle on my back a lot these days, so of course I need to find some non-chem alternatives for these things.
Edited to ask one more! What do you use for toilets? Our seldom-used downstairs toilet sometimes gets moldy
:, and I find that vinegar and baking soda don't solve the problem--the mold usually shows up again in a few days. And the upstairs toilet gets orange stains where the water runs down, which vinegar doesn't remove. I've been using my trusty powdered cleanser, but I'd rather find a better way.
TIA!
