I don't know how you would feel about this, but my OB last time told me it was ok to use a little hydrocortisone cream on it...just a touch, not a lot. I'm sure there has to be a more natural alternative though.
The itching was so bad during my last pg I was BLEEDING on my tummy and tops of my thighs from scratching so hard. I couldn't help it. That was my worst complaint about that pg. This time I'm using up my old marks and just now starting to get a few new ones, which I can feel tearing but its more of a stinging than an itch. I tried everything I could get my hands on last time, including hydrocortizone. The only thing that helped me was giving birth. Wish I could be of more help. Sometimes there's not much we can do about certain discomforts, but one things for sure, this pg will be over before you know it and it will all be just a memory. Hang in there!
Only thing that helps my burning itching stretchmark belly is a soak in a warm bath with epson salts, sea salts, Weleda calendula oil and Burt's Bee's apricot kernal oil. It lasts for a couple of hours. : Rest of my skin feels heavenly, belly feels good for a little bit.
