I watch a neighbor girl sometimes, I don't know what is age appropriate behavior so some of the things she does that really gets on my nerves I try to let go. So I want to know from others if the following are normal acceptable things that I should continue to ignore and if I should say something, what should I say or do?
She will get excited and start yelling and screaming and talking loud and really fast, she sounds to me like she is going crazy, she is overreacting and it hurts my ears due to the high pitch...
She is very bossy, I also am watching my 17 month old, and when we are outside I have to stay close to the 17 month old to make sure she doesn't do something dangerous like running to the road or vanishing etc, but the 4 year old inscessantly bosses us, "LA-DEEES, come on!!! I said right now come here, go this way!! EX-CUSE MEEEE!" I tell her, please don't tell us what to do, I have to watch Hypatia, we can all play but I can't leave Hypatia alone, if she doesn't want to follow you I can't make her do something she doesn't want to do, she wont have fun then." She says okay then 2 seconds later she is bossing again....
She keeps asking why is Hypatia's dad at our house (b/c he lives here), questions I pretty much answer every time I see her and have since I met her a few months ago.
