Yesterday when he went to pick up ds from daycare the teacher there was going on and on about how great ds is and how sweet he is. She said she hopes when she has kids that they turn out just like ds. Dh said "wanna know the secret?" Of course she said yes. He said "Unconditional love, we've never spanked him, we talk to him like a human being and allow him to have his feelings even if it's a tantrum." I was like "YOU said that to them!" I was so proud. This is the same man that I argued with during my whole pregnancy about me not wanting to spank and him thinking it's perfectly fine. The same man that said "ok, we'll do it your way but if it's not working I will spank him". And now he's they guy that says "we don't spank". Tears are coming to my eyes just thinking about it.
