Today is the end of week one of DH's two-week out-of-town conference. I'm exhausted! In some ways it's a relief that I'm at work for a few hours, because I get a chance to sit.

I've always known that Chris is a fantastic partner, but now that he's gone, I'm finding out just how awesome he is, and how many things around the house he quietly takes care of. Cailan and I miss him so much.

Just one more week...

It's wonderful that your dh is such a great partner! I don't know how I would fare after 2wks of being without my dh. He's had to go away a few times for several days at a time, but never too long.

Those kinds of stretches apart are hard. I used to be the one to leave before dd for work, and it was so hard. It always took us a few days to get our groove back, too.
