What do you use for protein sources for your child?
C is no dairy, soy, peanut, beef, pork. That leaves us chicken and that's about it. Just wondering if there is any other sources that I'm overlooking.

how about other nuts? nut butters, eggs, deer (if it's available) peas, and beans, pumpking seeds (not sure how old your child is), quinoa is a grain, but it is high in protein, and the most complete protein you can find in a grain (or something like that ).

Eggs? You can make smoothies with egg whites powdered or pasteurized. Assuming dc is not egg allergic, of course.

If you're looking for meat sources, there's also lamb, goat and fish. Not sure how closely related it is to cow, but there's also buffalo. In terms of poultry, there's also turkey, goose, and duck. If you are not afraid of game meats, there's also ostrich, rabbit, and venison.
