I joined this 'church prayer group' of where I attend.

They were talking of circumcision overhealing and had to do a surgery to fix the opening .

Would this be a meatomy ?

Well, I'm getting down on my knees tonight and praying to God that those parents get some sense and don't ever circumcise another little boy.
Sheeeeeesh, God can only do so much for us and then we've got to use the
brains we were given.

A meatotomy is a widening of the urethral opening, which is, I believe, called the meatus. It sounds to me as if the problem being corrected here is a fairly severe case of meatal stenosis, which occurs in a wide range of degrees of severity, most of which can be correcte din the doctor's office. If it ws meatal stenosis, it was indeed a complication directly related to the boy's neonatal circumcision.
