gone for a while

Hello ladies!

I wanted to let you know that I will be gone off the boards for a little while. I'm getting married this weekend (yay!!!) and then taking the next week off to relax with my new husband.

As excited as I am about all the big things going on in my life right now, I just can't wait for this particular one to be over. It's a source of huge stress (financial, social, mother-in-law, : ) and I'll be unbelievably relieved when it's done. Then I'll have a chance to concentrate on growing this baby and preparing to be a first-time mom.

I really will miss checking in with y'all though. It's very nice having a support network of lovely ladies. So at least I'll have something to look forward to when I get back.

And I'm Back!!!

Thank you all so much for your well-wishes!

The wedding went off beautifully. It rained through the entire ceremony but only during the ceremony, which was fine by me. My husband cried infinitely more than I did (meaning I won the bet about who would). And I was barefoot, pregnant, and deliriously in love ... couldn't have asked for anything better.

At some point I'll post some pictures.

And now, thank goodness, it's all over so I can settle down to growing this baby. Yay!!!
