: She received yesterdaysultrasound report and said everything looked good except for the placenta, sais there was a good deal of calcification, aboutthe amount seen at 41 weeks or so. She also ended up seeing the ultrasound report that when i was 7 w 3d, which gives me due date of 6/13, not the 6/17 date i had been given her( from lmp)She said cause of the placenta she was not comfrotable lettign me go over tpast friday and dh agrees. plus my blood pressure is up, not a whole bunch but some. So today and i let her strip my membrane and if nothing happens by friday evening( when she is on0 she wants to induce with pitocin.
I have been pretty crampy since the stipping but nothing major. I have walked at the mall for 2 hours( would walk outside but the heat factor is 101 right now.Any other suggestions on what i could do, i have tried pressure points(webbing between thumb and finger and above ankle) and sex.
I soooo dont want pitocin but i also dont want problems from the placenta either.

to you Mama! I can kind of relate to your frustrations. I am now 10 days past my due date and am also worried that my mw will induce me w/ pitocin, although I'm not sure if she even used that. It would be her induce me or if this baby doesn't come by this week, I'm afraid I'll end up having to just check myself into the nearest hospital or something. 
Oh man, that's tough.
I didn't even know mw's could induce with pitocin.
