It's definitely a personal thing I read Ask and have to admit I ended up skimming/skipping a lot in the first part. It just didn't appeal to me. The second part, where they talk of what to do, I devoured! And then I read Excuse Me and liked that a lot more.
That's why it's so good that there is so much out there. What speaks to one person, falls flat with another and vice versa.
They are wordy though as a PP said! I like the Art of Deliberate Creation because it has some workshop transcriptions in the back and it's their workshop work that I like the best, along with the processes.
