If i am not mistaken the lead star of this show is Jewish. She also has a son now. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't have any problems with the prevailing pro-circ tone in that episode.

It is interesting to me that her character pointed out that 80% of the planet was intact...was she making a pro-genital integrity comment there?

I saw the ER episode where the dr's baby was circ'ed. He and the mom were never married, and I beleive they broke up before she even gave birth, so I'm not sure where he stood legally regarding medical procedures. They also minimized his concerns to "I want him to look like me in the shower."
