Many people put more thought into piercing their daughter's ears than surgery on their son's genitals.

For some reason, THAT'S something they think should be left up to their daughters, however circumcision is a "family decision." Where is the logic?!

so true and so sad because it's also the total opposite because if a parent chooses to pierce the daughter "gain" earrings while the son "LOSES" a Important part of "His Penis" .

Pierced Ears can also be 'reversed to be unpierced but circumcision can't.

My sister won't pierce her DD's ears until she's old enough to ask because her DH says he won't allow it, but she *will* circ any sons she has because her DH *insists* it be done. It truly disgusts me. I'm hoping she never has a son.
