March 2007 Roll Call - Page 11

I'm new to MDC, but am due at the end of March w/DC #2. We won't be finding out the gender, and we are planning another home waterbirth. I dreamed last night that my MW and DH had set up the birth tub and put me in it (at 15 weeks where I am now), and wondered why my labor wasn't progressing!! I wasn't in labor! It was a funny dream, I just remember thinking I should go for a walk to help speed it up! LOL! Ah, pregnancy dreams! I'm so glad to join the group!

Isn't it crazy that I haven't roll called yet???
I would think that ya'll at least recognize me by now. I am Valerie, have two lovely little girls. I am due March 19, though isn't it funny, I will tell a bunch of strangers but somehow play dumb when my family askes me when I am due? I just can't stand those last few days when everytime I talk to them, its are you in labor? We kinda want to find out the sex, okay, we really do, but we don't know if we will be able to. We are going for our first homebirth this time, which means we have to pay for it. Which means we may not get an ultrasound. Oh well though, right? Okay, now I have roll called

Irish Twins...

My DD is five months old, and I am due the end of March.: This was such a surprise. (it came about during a breif reconciliation with DD's father) I figured it out a month after the fact, although I should have known when I suddenly had to have a dog. (I love animals, I just prefer not to live with them. With DD, in my first and second month, all I wanted was a rabbit or a small dog. Couldn't drive past the local pet store with out the urge to turn in.) This is my second pregnancy, and I am feeling fantastic. Mild nausea two or three times, so different from DD. Starving all the time, bfing and growing a new one. Can still sleep on my stomach though!

Welcome, Jennifer! Too funny about the pets -- it must be your innate cuddling/nurturing instinct! I found my second pg to be much easier than my first one, I hope that's your situation as well -- especially with such a little one!

Hello All. We're due March 15th. Just started feeling strong movements today. Can't second guess them as bubbles now. We aren't finding out the gender. And are planning a homebirth. Probably a waterbirth. I say probably because we planned a waterbirth last time but I stalled, so ds was born on the toilet(actually in front of it). So we'll filler up this time and see how labor goes. I'm really excited this time because I actually understand that there is this awesome little person inside and I can't wait to meet them. The first time it was like a hazy dream, I didn't know exactly what was going on or what to expect. It was wonderful and relaxing. This times it's exciting and hectic. Chasing a one year old isn't too tough in the begining of pregnancy it's the end of pregnancy that I'm worried out. Anyway I'm a happy mama to 2 babies!

hey mamas, im new here, EDD march 26th for my second kiddo. i have a 7.5 yr old daughter who loves saag paneer and dinosaurs, and is looking forward to a partner in crime, however small. im planning a homebirth/waterbirth, had my first in the hospital without drugs or interventions, but from what i read and hear i was lucky, and it certainly was a struggle at the time. im 17w3d and i fear im becoming a cat..i nap all the time and love to eat and get massages from my hubby. ive also lost interest in doing anything that doesnt revolve around these three things...hahaha. im still biking and taking a yoga class to maintain some semblance of an energized life--and of course there are trips to the park and such with my kidlet, but other than that im happy to be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. ...never thought id see the day! if any of you have an OB, let me simply say, coooooomeeee to the midwifery side, cooooomeee. hahaha. ill never go back.

ps- dont ask about the canada flag, just thought id be nice and random for a sec. im in jersey, hence the handle.

I'm emily , mom to a two and half year old. I'm due march 17 th as of right now, but i really think its more towards the end of the month. This one will be due around my ds third bday. We are going to find out the gender, i'm a planner. I am going to have a hospital birth but i'm not going to do pain meds this time. My last labor was easy, and so far this pregnancy has been easier than my last. I'm already half done already. I can't believe it.

Hi all :, I am new here but am a regular over on the pregnancy after loss thread. We had a son, Quinn, in Oct. of 2005, who lived for two days. Then I had a m/c in Feb, so I'm hoping for a successful pregnancy! So far, so good. Anyway, I know some of you, but am looking forward to getting to know you all! I am 23 weeks. My DD is the 18th, but I think it will be a little earlier. All I know is that it can't come soon enough!

New to the forum

Excited to have found this forum. I've been on WebMD for many months and like that the ladies on this forum seem to take a more natural and thoughtful approach to health and pregnancy, YEA!

I'm due mid-march. We are uncertain of our conception date, so I don't plan on getting impatient until April 1st (official date is 3/14). I am a very active person, not so much during pregnancy, but more so than many I have come across locally (not many). Everything seems to be going smoothly, overall I am enjoying being pregnant. We are planning on giving birth in a hospital although have the popular Lisa Ross birthing center in town. For our first baby, my husband and I feel more comfortable trying our hand at experiencing our wishes at birth through choice of a good doctor and a possibly cooperative hospital. I am probably going to use a doula although haven't committed to one yet. I embrace the Bradley method information more than any other that I've read so far.

It's a boy.

HI- I'm due on 3/3/07. (Which is Girl's Day in Japan & we are having a boy). I have a 20 mo DD. We didn't plan on finding out the gender, but since I am an older mama, I get all the extra test & it was pretty obvious during the ultrasound what the baby's gender is. I had a wonderful experience with DD & I hope to have another great experience with DS. We are going to do Bradley method again, no-meds, water labor, doula...
Anyway, I'm glad to join this forum.

Hello, I am due on 06 March, one day after my birthday. We are expecting a son and I am fending off the names Voltron and Optimus Prime.

This will be our first child. The families are excited, but wishing we were closer. At least in the same country...
