Yes, the press release is to be given out to your local media. However, since you're in Kingston (MA I'm assuming) I'll be sending out a press release for this area. Those in Western MA or areas where Boston news media doesn't really extend, go ahead and send it out there.

With regard to the nurse-in. I just wanted to make sure everyone understands:

No chants, just hanging out at the Mall (near or in VS) and nursing your babe. No shouting, nothing. Just being regular nursing mothers. If you want to wear your lactivist stuff, go for it. But we don't want to be seen as nutbags! . We want to be respectful and respected. As another poster stated it sounds more like a nurse-out, but I say it's a bit of both. We're bringing awareness to this issue in a very directed manner (in, near, out front of) VS. It sounds like some people are having issues with mall management. So I'm just trying lend some support and ideas to them on this problem.

Well Cleveland is coming along. We're going to be at a local outdoor mall. I have decided not to contact the mall management (anyone think this is a bad idea?), but to issue a press release. Did someone have one written already? : And what are people using for hand-outs?

There is a press-release on this board written by firstkid4me. I wouldn't recommend handing anything out, then it is construed as a demonstration. Better to just be a friendly meeting of nursing mothers.

to get them to do a form email to VS for people to sign and jot off. Has anyone done this before or has one already been done for this? Thanks again.
