sources re: vax child w/fever

Anyone have sources regarding the safety of vaxing a child with a fever? My friend's dd has an appt tomorrow and for the last day she has hade a fever of 100.1-100.4. Nothing awful, and it is accompanying a very minor runny nose. But I tried to tell her that her dd's body is busy fighting off some little germ and to inject her with DTaP before the fever breaks might be too much activity for her immune system and may make dd more susceptible to reactions. Yet I can't find a source to show her and she already thinks I am somewhat off the deep end on this stuff. Can anyone help? All the "official" CDC/AAFP-type sources say that mild illness is not a precaution, though moderate would be.

Try a google for the vaccine inserts themselves. I know I've read it in some of them.
