Actually, we don't know how big of an issue Mad Cow Disease is in this country, because only 1% of our cows are tested for it. Unfortunately, cows are still being fed blood, manure, and slaughterhouse waste. http://www.organicconsumers.org/bytes/bytes25.cfm
