This is on my birth supply list: 20 large underpads 23" by 36" (underliners)

what are these and where do I find them?

hmmm-sounds to me like they're asking for chux pads. These are disposable (plastic and paper) pads to put under you during birth or after. They're about 2' x 3' if I'm guessing correctly. You can also make some or purchase cloth ones.

I'm sure some other mamas will come along and correct me if I'm wrong and possibly tell you where you can purchase these items.

Yeah, I'm sure those are the same as "chux". They have a bit of cotton/paper lining to absorb goo, and the other is thin plastic so it protects whatever surface is underneath it. They're really cheap, but like PP said, you can also buy reusable fleece ones (or make your own) which can later be used for all kinds of purposes.

They are found in the incontinence isle at the drugstore.

I like the Walgreen's Brand because they seem softer and thicker than some of the other cheaper brands (Depends brand is good, too, but expensive)

Usually they're with the feminine products and incontinence supplies at most large drug stores. I never used half as many as was on the birth supply list my midwife gave me, so I don't even have to buy any this time. My midwife said Walgreens has them, but I think I got mine at Osco or Brooks. They just look like giant square thin maxi pads, LOL, or a white towel that won't leak through.

kudos to those of you who make your own but having seen all of what got on the ones they used during my first birth, I am MORE than happy to have those thrown away to never be seen again. thanks for the rec's, now I'm going to be all embarrassed at Walgreens, I'm sure they'll think this pg girl is wetting the bed!
