Talula was born June 22nd at 8:57 p.m. She is 7 lbs., 10 oz. Labor was about 5 hours, and was all natural. It was tough even though it was short. I do not know how people can endure lengthy labors. Joey was a huge help. He pushed on my lower back with every contraction, which really helped. I was standing up for most of the labor, so I think that made things progress quickly.
Talula breastfeeds like a champ, and she is just so adorable. She has a really calm and sweet temperment.
It's funny. She was born the day before her expected due date, just like her sister Tania was. And she is born on the first day of Cancer, as Tania was born on the first day of Pisces. They should get along great!
