10 months is a very common age for nursing strikes. Lots of teeth coming in, babe accidentally bites mom, she yelps, his feelingsget hurt... strike. You gotta work with babe to keep nursing .

not to judge her, she's a good mom, I just thought it sounded funny.
How long ago was this? Obviously he was reading the AAP guidelines that recommend nursing for the first year of life. Must have been before the update or he had an old copy.

I suppose it's possible that the strike just happened to begin on the day of the child's b-day.


My aunt claims that all 3 of her children self-weaned when they were around 12 months old.
You know what she did with their baby food? She stirred sugar into it!
