pattern source for wooden waldorf toys?

My husband is a woodworker, and would like to make more things for our boy: especially those big ticket items, kitchens, work bench, playstands, learning tower, etc. Anyone know a good book or other source of instructions for making these? Thanks!!!

I've been thinking of asking my dad to put together a series of woodworking plans for this sort of thing! Do you think there'd be much call for it? (This is the sort of thing I love to do - draw out how to make stuff I get it from my dad )

I think there would be some call for it. It would be especially easy for you to get them out there with F&F I think. I wonder if plans for smaller toys that were easy for a novice woodworker to do might have more appeal. My husband is a good woodorker and said he could mostly figure stuff out, so we would be more interested in the bigger, more complicated projects I mentioned.

Well, I set my dad on the job! He's a draftsman by trade and a hobby woodworker, so he should be able to come up with some good stuff. I showed him a large range of ideas, from the simple to complex, so he'd have lots to work on.

Kytka at waldorfhomeschoolers.com has these free plans. If you would like plans to order, just google 'playstand plans' and several things come up.

http://www.playstandplans.com is one, there are also instructions for some frame like toys in various craft books, Toymaking with Chidren and Crafts through the Year.
