Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Page 3

So Hera, did ya like?

That website has saved me tons of money on books.

Pretty fun so far, though I'm trying to figure out when it is supposed to be taking place. Tara's in it, so... When was it written?

Now I'm wondering if Cassie Claire ever wrote any Buffy fanfic.

It's supposed to be canon up until Tabula Rasa, then it goes slightly AU.

It gets trippy. Have you meet Cranky Pants, aka "Btchy britches" yet?

Oh Ruby, you are bad! Maybe it isn't B/S but D/G works for me :

Oh, i am SO into Spuffy! I never really could get the buffy/Angel thing. I mean, it was sweet, but he just seems so much older. And i really didn't get into Riley. but my favorite is Xander/Anya. (: Hell's Bell's: )

Queen of these Slayers was a fun read, but I've read better fanfic, imo. And the end was just too weird, far fetched, and a little gross. (although it did tie nicely in with Fray)

Comics will be canon, Whedon is in charge, and writers from the show are involved!!!
Personally, i'd like to see Dawn as a watcher, Willow as, I don't know, a goddess or something, and Buffy on vacation.
And Xander should be re-united with a resurrected Anya. (brought back from a real hell dimension)(okay, I know, it's been done ad nauseum, but he deserves it)

1. Better Fanfic? Spuffy? hee hee hee

2. QOTS had some things that I thought were somewhat plausible, but I mostly found major decisions to be out of character. How about that Virtual Season 8, I forget the name of the forum? They have decided not to finish it and it's really season 9, not season 8, but it is sort of OK.

3. Comic book sounds awesome! Are we going to get the "what was happening with the slayers in Rome while Angel was taking on wolfram and hart" story? YAY!!!

4. Ruby, I'm working on the second story in that series and liking it less. The first one was definitely worth reading for the W/Sn shipping. I'm confused about what is supposed to have happened, especially regarding Spike. Is he souly or not? Hmm.

At least I know I'm not alone.

Yeah, and we should find out about "the Immortal" (in the comics). Have you guys read Tales of the Slayer and Tales of the Vampires?

I've really liked the fanfiction that I've read at the Bloody Awful Poet Society, and also The Existential Scoobies, who are doing a season six of Angel. (By the way if any of you has not been to "All Things Philosophical on BTVS and Ats"(www.atpobtvs.com) you should check it out. so amazing, but be ready for hours of reading)(it's my favorite buffy site, but whedonesque is pretty cool, too.)

Whoa, whoa, let me clarify what I mean by "Spuffy": I liked it on the show. Fanfic for me, though, has got to be Spike and Dru. I loved The "Pretty Maids all in a Row" book, too. Drusilla!!! One of the best characters, imho.
I once read a story where Angel and Cordy take a child Connor up to visit Spike, Buffy, and Dawn for Thanksgiving (obviously AU). That was just about my favorite, I think. Pretty sad though: what might have been. if only...!

hey, by the way, I haven't read their season 6, yet, so I can't reccomend it... let me know how you like it.
isn't that just a killer site, though?
i wish i had a computer at home_ I 've got no time for reading fanfic any more... Motheringdotcommune takes up the very little amount of computer time that I have.

I've been enjoying that Season 6, it's very well done. I can tell that I am totally geeking out because I just made the Liam/ William connection, both Angel and Spike's human names are variations of the same name and the meaning is listed as "determined protector." Whoa, dude

I know this is the wrong thread for this info, but I did just discover that Cassandra Claire had pulled the draco trilogy from fiction alley. I was freaked, because I didn't even know she had finished it. I found it in another location though, so it's still out there. One of the best pieces of (harry potter) fanfiction I've ever read. I actually saved the PDF's to my own computer, speaking of geeky.

I'm still working on this season 6....anybody else reading it?

I hear crickets...

Anyway, I think it's pretty good as far as being in character, but nobody's getting any which is making it kind of boring. Besides, if it was really whedon there'd be some tension about now, if you know what I mean.

Maybe I'll have to go back to reading shippy fluff.

here is my fanfic rec for today. it's a BtVS/HP crossover with a twist.

That must be so hard. Do you know the trigger, at least?

HUGE Buffy fan. I adore Buffy. I own them all on DVD and watch them religiously.

But I think I must be the only one who really likes Buffy and Riley. I thought he was good for her. (I came to this conclusion a month ago after watching Season Four for the billionth time )
