Natural Knitting Mamas/Onesie Pattern

Hello Everyone!

I've just finished knitting up my first wool soaker whoowhoo! And it only took a couple of days ! I was wondering if anyone has had any experience knitting onesies for their wee ones. I'm really searching for a knit onesie pattern instead of buying woolen ones online, but I can't seem to find any! I have found some knit sleeper patterns but they only have buttons in the front, so you pretty much have to get baby totally nekkie before doing the diaper change...ergh! I just want a simple onesie pattern with buttons on the bottom, and the pattern doesn't need to be for wool, I can just experiment to get gauge.

Any thoughts?

TIA!

Yes, that sounds like it would be super-fun! Are you a knit pattern maker/seller type of person?

Just volunteering if you need any patterns tested. I'm expecting #3 at the end of June, which is mid winter here so I need to get some knitting done asap.

oh oh, is it too late for me to get this pattern to test? I am looking *everywhere* for a basic onesie pattern, button crotch or whatever. Tank or short sleeve, toddler or newborn or in-between.

There is one for sale in Patternworks, I just noticed. I would rather not go that route quite yet.

PM me with your e-mail addy I think I still have it on my computer. It's more like a jumper than a onsie but is pretty close fitting.
