Our happy girl has become a sourpuss

Samara has gone from this to this : over the past few days. She doesn't have a fever or show any other symptoms of being ill. Maybe it's just teething? I don't remember my other kids being this sad from teething. She used to be a very "talkative" smiley, never crying baby and now she barely talks, cries a lot, and wants to be held all the time. She doesn't tug at her ears like it's an ear infection...she doesn't seem in pain. I just don't know what's up. Oh, and she also used to be a super sleeper and now...not so much.

Anyone elses babe going through a personality shift?

My daughter did that. She had an awful time with teething. Every tooth would be a trial. Thankfully they came in spurts.

I hope it's "just" teething.

Sounds like teething to me. DD has NOT been like this and she just got her first hint of a tooth. DS on the other hand had a terrible time teething and wanted to be held all the time, etc.

Boiron's homeopathic Camilia teething drops were a miracle for us. You could also use any homopathic Camomile preparation. Camomile is indicated for weepy children who constantly want to be held, as well as for teething in general. The drops are nice because the baby slurps them up - they just taste like water.

Good luck - it is so hard having a sad baby!
