Is there a set date/time? This DDC is still going strong. So sad to think it may be gone forever. Will it be archived..and if so, what exactly does this mean? All of our old posts will be saved?

That really is a bummer. I just posted that we've got so many more posts than anyone else.

Admin, please, consider giving us some other place than A thread to post on. We start and maintain numerous threads with varying topics every day. It will just not be the same with it all mushed into one thread.

Just wondering if it's possible for the DDCs that are done being pregnant can graduate to a special forum just for them? Like...Babies of Dec 2005 or something. I know of at least one other website that does that. They call them playgroups. I know, it'd take up a lot of bandwidth.

We have considered requests for LWAB DDC subforums and have decided not to take those on. It would be a considerable number of forums. I have put this same announcement in all the open DDCs up until April 2006. I have to have admins. close the forums, so I cannot give a specific date or time as it is a matter of availability. Soon is all I can say. Other Due Date Clubs have started Yahoo groups or private sites in the past when they have gotten along really well. These DDCs are not intended to stay open, but the threads will not be removed from the site and will still be searchable.

Gosh, for nine long months I eagerly anticipated my daughter being born, and was so glad to have this place to visit when she finally arrived. You have all been such a positive contribution to my first mothering experience. Hey, maybe the Bill Gates foundation will help us out, since they are getting a huge donation from the other wealthiest guy in the world. I am sure that the "December Moms Group" would qualify as necessary. ;-)

I'm requesting that we be given notice as to when this DDC forum will close so we can get our "other home" built and in place, and notice given to the members. That seems reasonable.
I don't think coming in out of the blue and saying "soon" but no date given IS reasonable.
