slightly OT, but

Has anyone read The Birth House? I'm dying to get my hands on it, would pay media mail both ways to just *borrow* it from someone... My library won't get it for ages and it's too pricey for me to buy right now.

Highly recommend The Stolen Child by Keith Donahue

if you feel like you've read it all before, this is for you!

I have to give that one another shot-tried to read it with a newborn, which was probably a big mistake!

I'm going to pick up The Other Boleyn Girl next.

Ooh ... The Stolen Child falls is one of those books I would buy before reading it. It is definitely on my list to get!

Another that I highly recommend is The Devil's Teeth: A True Story of Survival and Obsession Among America's Great White Sharks by Susan Casey. Absolutely fascinating book on the great white population at the Farallon Islands which are off the coast of San Francisco.
