Anyone have GEHA Insurance? Did they Cover HB?

GEHA (Government Employees Hospital Association) is our insurance carrier.

Does anyone else have this? Any luck getting them to cover HomeBirth or CPMs? We are in Pennsylvania and it would be very difficult for us to afford a homebirth if we cant get insurance to help pay for it.

Please share your experiences if you have any.

We have GEHA too and are filing for reimbursement after the baby is born (I'm 39 weeks today so it should be soon);I'll bump this thread when I find out. I do know however that if they do reimburse us it will only be 65% because obviously my CPM isn't a PPO.

thanks Jade 2561 -- that is helpful to know that soemone else out there is facing the same thing I am.
I figured that they might only cover 65% too.
Did you get any pre-clearance from them for the reimbursement?
I was planning to call today but I also dont want to raise red flags.

Please do let me know what happens -- And good luck over the next few weeks!!!
