1:30am is the 9th anniversary of my first homebirth.

Tomorrow, my only son has his ninth birthday!

It was the birth that taught me that God is the best chooser of birthdays, and that induction (without CLEAR and PRESENT DANGER to mom or baby) is nothing more than hubris. His birth didn't have to be hard.

So, I'm posting to say Happy Birthday to US!
