. . . you view a poopy diaper as a symptom of illness

The kids and I are sick. Not too bad, just a little fevery and a lot of pooping going on. Last night Owen cried and crawled over to me on the floor where I was sitting (that's actually a normal cue of his). I hugged him and before I could stand up he immediately pooped in his diaper. It just came on him too fast to do anything. Then in the middle of the night he woke and pooped in the potty (in the middle of being up for two hours!). So I was caught totally off guard when just a few hours later (still night) he pooped in his diaper. He was NOT happy about being cleaned up half asleep.

Poor little buddy. We've been averaging one poopy diaper a MONTH since we started EC. Having two in one night is definitely a symptom of him being sick.

...you look at tupperware and contemplate, wether it would make a good diaper-bag-potty

...you cut the snaps off all your baby's onesies

...you think that telling people you are nursing a toddler is trivial compared to telling them that your baby goes potty

...you are looking for an appropriate name for your diaper bag, which has no diapers in it

...the diaper-pail only contains spit-up-clothes, mum's menstrual pads, dishclothes from the kitchen and baby's undies

...you have your toothbrush dropped in the sink and peed on by the baby

...you have beautiful one-piece babyclothes in the drawer which you never use

...you buy a little fanny pack to replace the big fancy diaper bag you got for a shower gift.

...the whole extended family starts suggesting that maybe the baby is fussing because she has to "go".
