Anyone know anything about taking DHA while pregnant? (For the omega-3 fatty acids.) I'm going to ask my midwife next appointment... just wondering if anyone has any strong opinions about taking this supplement.

I think it's a good thing. I would recommend a vegan source (like the Omega-zen capsules sold at www.veganessentials.com) instead of a fish oil source, just so you can avoid the issues of contaminants (like mercury) in fish. But it definitely can't hurt and can only help your baby's developing brain.

Thanks for the advice!! I wouldn't have thought of the mercury issue!
