Yeah, I also heard there won't be any direct references to God or religion. That doesn't sit well with me but I'll keep an open mind about the film. I can't wait to see Seraffina Pekkala. She's one of my favorite characters from the book. :

The anti-g-d part of the book disturbed me, but it was an important part of the book.

I sort of wish it was written anti religion but not anti g-d, but it wasn't and the movie should reflect the book, if you know what I mean.

I love Serafinna!

It is very hard for me to believe that they will be able to removed all references to god or religion- it is a major theme of the book. I can not believe that Philip Pullman would allow that. I loved what he had to say.
