Baby makes 5 (2 adults + 3 children).

I can't believe we're having a third! I am so excited! I come from a small family (just 2 of us) . . .my sister has 4 children and will have more, and now we're having a third.

That's a lot of seconds! Do people not usually find Mothering until after the first?

Me, I've been lurking and posting here since we even considered the possibility that we might not never want to have children. Well, almost.

Second or third, depending on how you look at it. My DS was born extremely prematurely more than three years ago, and did not make it. DD is 22 months old tomorrow.

Sorry I didn't answer my own poll right away; DD was demanding that I go upstairs with her, so I had to post and run....

It's my first! I bet lots of women find Mothering the mag while mothering their first child, and then are here for their second go round of pregnancy... But not me, the super-over-researcher! People in general conversation try to tell me things, about weddings or birth or whatever, and I have to act interested because I will have read all about it already... must stop obsessing....

St. Margaret - I found I enjoyed the obsessing so much I decided to pursue a career in midwifery, before we even started TTC. Hey, justifies all that money I've spent on pregnancy, birth, and baby books!

It's our third baby but only our second pregnancy.

I am soooo excited to be pregnant again. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to have a baby growing inside me.

How lucky we woman are to be the ones to do it!

This is my fourth pregnancy, and (hopefully) our second child!

I discovered attachment parenting in my last trimester of pregnancy with my son. Found Mothering magazine in the last month of that pregnancy, I think. And found the MDC boards soon after DS was born.
