Do you consign your old clothes?

I consigned a bunch of my dd's outgrown clothes last month. I made enough to buy from the same store all the summer clothes ds needed. I wonder if others have had success with consigning and if anyone had any tips.

Unfortunately, I did not this last time (they all went to the free store) but next time around I definitely will be doing consignment. I eagerly await tips as well.

That's great! I have two girls, and I buy most of their clothes at the thrift shop to begin with. By the time the clothes survive both of my girls, they are very worn out. But at least I got my money's worth!

I have sold some of my dd's clothes to a resale store. They buy the clothes outright and give you more $$ if you take store credit, which I do. I can then buy a whole lot of clothes for dd with that. My mom is always buying dd Gap stuff so this works in our favor. They don't always give very much $$, though, so it can be frustrating.
