Sorry, not sure where to put this...

What kind of bug-repellent do you ladies use on your DC? I would like something natural and safe, either something I can make myself or buy.

TIA

I made one this week of rose geranium essential oil, vodka, white vinegar and water... so far not one bug bite from camp and we are in tick & mosquito land.

That's what I had onhand... I also keep it in the fridge since I didnt have distilled water. I also used to use a few drops of citronella EO but ran out.

We have just started using Badger's Anti-Bug Balm. We've been happy with it so far, but we're big Badger fans already

I use one made of catnip that one of my friends made up for me. It is quite similar to the one you can find here

Hi, Ladies!

Well that WAS the recipe LMAO - honestly I dont have exact amounts but I would say I put in about 1/4 vodka, 1/4 vinegar, 20-30 drops of rose geranium essential oil and the rest water - shook it up and that was it! It actually smells good LOL - I thought it would smell bad. I must say that we haven't used it yet on a damp day... that will be the true test.. but one week without a bite is a big deal for us around here.

Good luck!
