Introducing our Gentle Giant--River Goran

Well at 41 weeks baby River has moved Earthside. He was born this afternoon at home at 12:52pm after 22 hours of labour. He is HUGE--we are guessing 10lbs but we don't have a scale so you'll have to wait for an update.

At last the wait is over...hang in there mamas still waiting...

hehe! I knew it! I was thinking today (before checking the forum) that we must have birthed together. How cool!!!!

Well at River's checkup he weighed in at 9lbs 4 oz so he was probably close to 9 1/2 at birth. We are all doing wonderfully. I don't know when I will get to a birthstory but it doesn't seem so urgent since its nothing but a beautiful experience and not much to process. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
