MDC bumperstickers? - Page 2

i would like one too!! i would want it to say MDC then at the bottom something like natural parenting or something..

Okay, so if I do this, am I infriging on any copyrights? If I use "MDC: Natural Family Living" or something like that? Do I have to request permission to do this? Mods?

I'm pretty sure that would be infringing on copywrites (trademarks, whatever it is with a logo and name).

I think it would be a great idea though, but something that would (should) need to be done by MDC.

*This post should NOT be construed as the *official* MDC stance... only my personal beliefs on the subject... wait for Cynthia or Ms Mom for an official statement*

I'm not opposed to the idea. It's just that past efforts (CafePress) did not get many purchases though a lot of time and effort went into the project. So I don't want to place the project into a moderator's hands and can't take it on myself. But it may be different this time since our community has grown and we have more advertising venues to get the word out. So if someone wants to volunteer services and work to create some designs, set things up, oversee the shop, and so on, I'd consider the offer. It would all be an MDC/Mothering project - all profits going to MDC for server expenses.

Interested volunteers can PM me and Ms. Mom.

Count me in...and I bet the MDC community would be so supportive of it. (If anyone is looking for preferences, I'd prefer magnet vs. sticker) Great idea!!

Hmmm. . .Well, I would be glad to try it out, but I am not really familiar with cafepress, or designing anything for that matter, so it would take me some time to figure out how to use it. If anyone else has any experience in this area, please jump in!

I'll see what I can put together in the meantime.

I would definately want all proceeds to go to MDC, of course!

I know of someone who can do an AWESOME design SUPER fast and then it just gets uploaded to cafepress. They aren't too hard to figure out.


If you want I can get this done ASAP.

I'm the designer in question and I just emailed files to Alaina for a tote bag and sticker with the black oval outline design. Since I will be MIA while we move several states away, she can work things out with Cynthia. Anything else I should design really quickly before I disappear?

They do NOT have car sized magnets through cafe press.

How will we all know when the bumper stickers are ready to be ordered? Will there be a sticky or notice at the top of MDC?

A bumpersticker is quite easily made into a car magnet by sticking it onto an appropriately sized magnet strip
