Okay everyone suggested a simple oval design that could be put on items. See below and lets hear what you think---Also cafepress does not have car sized maganets but you can purchase a sticker and for very little $$ put it on a magnetic backing!!

Really---I think its very plain and simple---plus to those who don't know what MDC is they'll have a little insight with 'natural famlies'

it still works on my computer : perhaps it's a cookies issue.

regardless, it is just the international style black and white oval sticker, with a large MDC taking up most of the space and www.mothering.com as part of the black border around the oval.

it's just a interpretation issue, i think. what i thought of when people were discussing a simple oval design with mdc on it - i immediately thought of the stickers that are on cars - IRL for ireland, OBX for the outer banks, etc.

if that's the design people are looking for - the less text the better.

if that's not what others were thinking of - then yours is great.

How about just

MDC
www.mothering.com

for stickers and small items

and as is above for things like tote bags

????????????

I'd much rather a tote that I can use for shopping than a sticker!

well.....actually I'd get both!

Is it possible to also make a bigger sticker? I guess I'm thinking that I would like people to know what the sticker means if they see it on my car.

A large shopping tote would be great! I have one, but would LOVE another.

I would be interested in both a large tote and a bumper sticker too. I like the idea of a regular size bumper sticker but would get the oval one if that's all there was.

we can go as large as cafepress has sticker wise! They do have bumpersize stickers they are the 10 x 3 so it's a nice size you'll just have to get the proper magnet to place on the back.

MDC does not have the funds to bulk purchase items.

This is a great idea .
A similar idea was brought up about MDC Ribbons recently, with the suggestion that it would be something extremely easy for almost all MDC mamas to make and use to identify each other in a crowd.

I really like the one that says MDC natural family--I like that it tells what we are about. If it just says MDC and then a website, are people really going to check it out or are we just showing one another that we are on? I'd like to get more people to check us out personally--and hopefully educate a few!
