We have netflix and just finished watching all the seasons of Good Neighbors. Has anyone else? It is a BBC sitcom (was introduced to it on PBR when we did do TV)...It is si funny about a couple who live in total suburbia of London and go self-sufficient just cold turkey- check it out! It's from the 70's...

yeah, good life and good neighbors are the same. In Europe it's called good life, here good neighbors (or vise versa); must've been a show with the same title in US or something...enjoy! (PS- we've now moved on to "6 feet Under"- not english but a dark comedy about funeral home- completely enthralled!

YES! It's on every so often on PBS, and I've also Netflixed the series. It's so funny. I watched it for inspiration, since they're doing pretty much what I want to do- be as sustainable as possible in the 'burbs.

My parents used to watch that show when I was a child so I have fond memories of it. My mom references it all the time when she walks in our backyard, she jokes that we are the good neighbors.
