mirthfulmum, we are on almost the same cycle. I got AF on July 1st and I usually O around day 14 also. (although because we started trying last month and we were a bit stressed about it, I think I ended up O'ing on day 15 or 16) So I guess we're cycle buds! :0) Good luck with number 3!! :

I'm crossing my fingers for you! 9 DPO is good...you don't have long to wait!! Although I'm sure it feels like it's going slow. I have a bunch of things you can do to pass the time and it will distract you and give you some laughs. I'm not sure what you're intersted in, so I'll just put a bunch of things out here!

The first one is a live Osprey cam...
set up in Calgary...it's so neat! THe Momma had her babies just over a week ago and they hatched. There are 3 of them in the nest. Papa comes and feeds them and Momma sits with them. The little chicks just got their neck coordination and are starting to follow momma around the nest. The cam is set up high so it can see right in the nest.
(Oh, I just checked and it said that the cam is temporarily down and to check back soon.)

I don't wait until I'm late to test.....although it's not gauranteed to get the right answer if you test early. i tested the day my period was due with my last pregnancy and I got a negative. A week later it was positive. This time I'd be to exited to wait until I'm late. I have a HPT sitting in my cupboard and it's too tempting not to test.

My update is that I am on CD5. My period was a light one and I thought it may be over today, but then it started coming back today! : So I am waiting it out and counting down to day 14 when we can start BDing!
We are going away tomorrow for 4 days so I hope you all can keep this thread alive!! I'll be back on sunday night! If I get a chance I'll pop in before we leave in the morning.

I'm 27 and this is my first cycle trying for my 1st baby!:


I usually have regular cycle however, starting this February I am having pretty lengthy (sp?) cycle........can't wait for this cycle to end.....

You're going to get me all excited thinking it may be possible! I've been trying not to get my hopes up too high since we started ttc. But now I'm thinking "this is the fist time I've had this pain in my breasts... AND I'm feeling very VERY tired today!" I know I shouldn't get my hopes up... but I can't seem to help it. I have a feeling at this point I'm going to be very disapppointed when AF comes! and I'll want to !!!
But oh well... I know it's in God's hands and I'll get the baby he wants me to have. I'm just really : that he'll let me have this months baby!

Welcome! I think if you haven't tested yet and you're 13 DPO then you have more patience than ANY of the women on this board!!! Including me!!! I think I have never been able to wait longer then 10 DPO before I started testing! : for a for you for your first try on #2!!!

Just have to vent for a moment...

DH has always loved that I'm a memeber of the IBTC... Last night though, he informed me that they are "friggin huge!" and that they've never been this big! I haven't tried to wear a bra for about a week because they've hurt so bad, but when I tried to put one on this morning, none fit!

So I guess this leads me to the question, is 6 DPO too soon to have them swell due to pregnancy? Or is this something that happens for AF reasons. And If AF isn't due to come for another 5-7 days, why are they like this now?

Also, I've been having knifing pains where my overies and uterus are. No spotting, though I have a watery discharge.

I get similar symptoms when I O, But I've never had them in between Oing and AF, and my boobs have never swelled untill I get my period.

I ended up testing yesterday and got a BFN. I could have sworn I had implantation spotting at 6 dpo (which I never have had before), but I guess it was something else.
I am expecting AF any day now. Grrr....

all our family is against the idea and that delayed us trying for a long time
we have also been talking about it for 2 years and have now gone ahead this cycle and whole heartidly trying to make a baby, we are hoping fate answers us with the first cycle if not I may doubt whether its a good idea or not

Goodmorning all. CD 6 here (I think I got that right). Started taking my pre-natals and upping my water intake for pregnancy prep and I've had an upset stomach since yesterday. Ugh. Those darned pre-natals are really hard on the stomach.

mommy_in_chaos - Your symptoms sound so much like preggo signs. And I remember that with my second pregnancy my symptoms came way earlier. Like my body just remembered what to do when pregnant and just did it. Keeping my fingers crossed that you are pregnant :. But man, oh man, it would be maddening if AF ended paying a visit.

It's just so frustrating having to wait. I bought a three pack of First Response tests and I'm waiting for day 10 past ovulation to start using them. I also bought some cheapy dollar tree tests to quelch the POAS sickness that I seem to have after about day 8. I know they wont work that early, but it makes me feel better! lol... i'm crazy I know...

I have been able to handle AF coming for the last few times, but I think when she comes this time, there will be a lot of disappointment. I haven't gotten my hopes up before, but this time I have. Everything is just different this month then it has ever been. for instance... Right now I'm experiencing pressure just above my hips in my back... What's that about? I've never had that happen before, and it's been this way for about 10 minutes now. And I haven't been hungry today. I am the #1 breakfast person in the world, and usually I'm sick by 9am if I don't eat as soon as I get up! So I guess that's what I'm calling a "loss of appitite".

But I'm sure that I could just be reading into things... Maybe I never paid this close attention to my cycle symptoms before. But I sure am keeping my : and : for a

What kind of HPT did you take? You're a lot more acceptant of one BFN then I would be... I'd have to test like 6 times in a row! Maybe you just tested too soon... I was looking at a website this morning: http://www.twoweekwait.com

I used a $ tree test. I have another I am going to use tomorrow, but I was so disappointed yesterday that I couldn't make myself go buy a different brand. I am pretty sure when I ovulated (had cramping and tons of EWCM), and the spotting had me sooo excited. When I tested with my daughter, I got a dark, dark positive the day AF was due, so I am thinking I should be able to trust whatever result I get tomorrow. I may get a different brand today to make sure the $ tree test is working.

Mommy, I'll be looking for your posts when I get back! Sending tons of dust to you, although I don't think you need any! This is sounding exiting for you! My body reacts quickly like that to pregnancy also. I can tell within 2 days if things are "happening" 6 days is NOT to early for the boobies to swell and this is a good sign! That's funny about hubby!

I'm on CD 12 of my first cycle "officially" ttc. I'm waffling between taking the "if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't" approach and the aggressive charting, monitoring CM and CD route.

I dunno.

Welcome! I hope your stay in this thread is short!

I took the "if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't" for these three months and now that I'm on my 3rd cycle with no success (at least no BFP yet-though things seem to be looking up) I'm ready to start the obsessive temping and even considering checking cervical positioning! I NEVER thought I'd ever EVER do that!!! So good luck with whichever approach you decide to take! I'll be : for you and I'm sending much your way!!

Just try to remember that God will give you your BFP when He knows you're ready for it! Till then, just keep asking Him for it. He'll answer soon enough.

Here's my personal update today... I had cramps so bad that I thought AF was here really super early. My bbs are falling out of my bra, but it hurts really bad to take it off... I bought some pinapple today and chopped it up. I could only eat a few pieces though because it's so sweet, and I haven't eaten much today. I'm making meatloaf for dinner, and the smell of the hamburg made me gag!!! It was aweful! I really hope these aren't symptoms that I'm dreaming up in my head. I am : really hard for this. (I hope you're having fun on your vacation!)

I hope your planning helps you out. 4 years with not even an oops seems very odd. I have been trying for my last 3 cycles with no luck, and I used Ovulation strips to find out when I O'd. I'm going to start temping next month faithfullly. I've tried to do it before, but I'm not getting very restful sleep lately, and I am too tired to stay awake long enough to write down my temp!

Great that you've got new symptoms. If you're anything like me, I bet you're questioning whether or not they are real. I can relate to the sore bbs thing! It may be a good sign, but it sure isn't a good feeling!

I hope these symptoms are right on track for pregnancy. I really don't want to have to keep trying. My hope is to not make it to the TTC 6+ months thread. I'm halfway there, so I'm not too hopeful!
Are you trying to get PG so that you're dd will be somewhere close to summer vacation? What grade do you teach? I know I should stop saying it will happen when it's time... it drives me nutz when DH says that to me! I just want to scream at him "I WANT THE TIME TO BE NOW!!!" But then I realize that he's absolutely right! So I hope I haven't made you feel bad... But I'm going to keep : that we all get what we're asking for, and soon!!!
It's been about 3 hrs since my last post, and I'm still cramping... I've been to the potty 3 times to check for AF. It feels very wet down there like she's just started, but I get there, and nothing. My CM is very watery.

Oh, and the imbarrisment!!! We had a guest for dinner, and I realized as I was taking off my apron that my bbs are puffed up out of my bra like I have 4 of them! I left my apron on for the whole meal, and until they left!
