ISO a good begginers book about photography

Hello,
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a "Photography 101" type book? I just got my first digital SLR, and I need to teach myself from the ground up about f-stop, shutter speed, appeture, lighting....and so on.

Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson

No Photog 101 books, but I definitely reccommend Ansel Adams autobiography. I read it after seeing his exhibit at the Smithsonian years ago. I love his work.
