Siblings, help!

Thread Starter
I have a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old. When they get along it is great but it seems like lately they are fighting all the time. They start to yell right in eachothers faces and they start to hit. I don't yell or hit but they do.

Anyway, I know it is normal for them to argue to some degree, but I was wondering if anyone has suggegtions on how to handle the fighting and any way to prevent it. I use gentle disipline and I really try to listen to thier needs but the fighting is not going away. Please help.:

Have you read the book Siblings Without Rivalry, its a good one. But for some reason right at this moment, I can't think of any specific advice.

My 10 and 13 year olds were the same way...and still are! They aren't as physical with each other, it's mostly bickering now, so I just let them resolve things themselves. Of course, if things do turn physical, I step in and seperate them, but otherwise I tell them that I don't want to hear it, to go work it out themselves in the other room. It usually doesn't last long when they know Mom won't take sides.
