okay this might be very much teh part of my hopeful side but when i went pee earlier out of habit I leaned way over adn then lifted my belly up to get it *all* well usually when i lean over I have to struggle to...er...open the way so to speak and this time i didn't have any problems getting a small stream. in fact i couldn't even stop it. lifted up the belly same thing. wiped...then had a feeling i had to go more so I did and then i tried to get more out and couldn't...then i leaned forward and more leaked out...

so now i'm confused is my bladder just confused or has my water sprung a leak? I also leaked a bit when i bent over to pull my pants up.

go ahead...be honest...i can handle it...

put on a pad, wait an hour and then smell it. I don't have experience with a leaking water bag, need to have advice myself on that, but if the pad doesn't smell like urine (if it gets wet) then I would venture to say leaking is your diagnosis!

Keep us posted!

Bummer! You, me, Ashley and April - I am just waiting to see which of us goes first, it feels like we are all in the same boat. Some indications, some progress, lots of cramping and contractions but nothing 'productive' yet. Which one will it be!!

I am not even gonna bother to tell you that it will happen soon, cause trust me, if someone said that to me right now, I may......no I would, bite their head off. DUH IT WILL HAPPEN SOON, but when, pray tell, is soon?

I've used the lean over method to completely empty my bladder before bed. Likely, it's urine. If you're concerned after trying the pad test the pp mentioned, you can always check with your care provider. They have a test to check if the fluid is amniotic.

If it's clear, and you have no fever, then it's likely not to be a problem even if it is amniotic fluid.

I've been obsessing about mucous and amniotic fluid too and likely I'll be one of the ones to lose it all just before the baby pokes his head out! I just want a sure sign!! My due date is not till saturday though so I'm being a little bit impatient.

So Jami, have you decided to go through with an induction?
