Strangers with Candy: The Movie

Is anyone going to go see it? Are there any other die hard Sedaris/Colbert/Dinello fans out there? My dh and I are so bummed that the movie isn't coming ANYWHERE near our city. He may get to go see it when he is in LA in a few weeks on business. We spent so many nights during college waiting up to watch Strangers with Candy after Southpark. Good times

I had read before that someone is making a movie based on the Sedaris family. I feel like I know all of them so well from reading David's books.

Oh, man! My dh and I loved Strangers with Candy. I remember setting the VCR to tape it when I worked. I'd love to see the movie but I doubt it'll be showing in my small town.

Oh yeah...good times, good times. Can't wait. Our library has 3 seasons on DVD. It was heaven, man. There's a woman in my neighborhood who bears a resemblence to Jerri. I cannot look her in the eye without cracking a grin.
A movie about the Sederis family would be hilarious, but seriously, it's all about David Sederis reading out loud. He would have to narrate it. I swear, I wish I came from their family!

my aunt IS jerri. looks like her, dresses like her, acts like her. its so wack. they even have similar histories.....and they each also have 1 grown son (i think i remember that episode) its really freaky.

I LOVE Strangers with Candy!!! I just found out that it's going to play in my town, and I'm so excited! I always watched the show and I just finished watching most of it from netflix. I can't wait!
