how many pg tests have you done??

after getting my first positive i made my dh go out and get a different brand just so i could make sure it wasn't a fluke...lol....so i've only peed on two sticks thus far, but i have a couple left i'll probably save for next week...what is it about those two lines that is comforting?? :
: Six or seven and I still have three left. :

After all this time TTC it just feels good to know that my pee really can make two lines appear.

I'm trying to space them out, so I don't go broke! I've only done one. I'll use another if I start getting too paranoid.

Two when we first tested, when my period was two days late. Then one several days later when I had a fluke low temp and some spotting. I'll probably use the last one when I get home on Saturday.

I'm not a POASaholic. If I had been charting this whole time, instead of just the last few cycles, I might never have used any before this time.

I just took my fifth this morning. I bought 25 internet cheapies so I could satisfy my testing urge during the 2ww.

I still just can't believe I'm pregnant. :

Only one so far. I have been thinking about getting some more tests though. You know, just to check

three

I did two last week right when AF was late, and then one on Saturday because I was getting neurotic. :

hehehe, yeah i know...see i haven't even gotten to the day i was supposed to get my period yet (tomarrow) i'm still dead set that i was pregnant with my fourth pregnancy when i went in to the doc. office (saw enlarged uterus and thick walls, but no yolk sac) b/c i got DARK lines on both my tests, and it usually takes a while for me to do that...but until i go to the doc i'll just stick with the last time i spotted...hehehe...and take like a bazillion more tests

POAS addict here, too many to count...

they were mostly dollar tree tests though, I had 4 of another brand which I got my earliest positives on.

I haven't POAS in almost two weeks though! So proud, what an accomplishment.

One on father's day hoping for a present--it was too early. One the next Friday and there was a faint line. One the monday after and there was a stronger line. Then one at the doctor's office.

4 total.
Well, I was pretty sure I was pregnant at 9 DPO-- so I foolishly tested. Got a negative. The next day (Father's Day) I was feeling REALLY sure so I tested at midnight (tried to wait for the morning pee but couldn't wait!) and got a +. Then I took another the next day . . .and made DH buy three more. So, six total! I still feel like getting another, though, since I know it'll be the last time I ever get to see those 2 lines.

The first 2 dh refused to belive. So I made him go get some more just to prove it. Then I took one and he couldn't deny it, but he said, "I wish it were darker." So I waited another day and took another one and it was darker. I think hes more of a poas addict than I am!

4. I took one on cd 37, it was negative (I miscarried recently & my cycles are normally longish, so it didn't seem odd, but I wanted to test anyway ). I took one in the afternoon on cd 44? It was veeeeeeeeeery faintly positive -- I thought it might be my imagination. I figured one the next morning would be clear enough. Nope. Still am-I-imagining-it faint. So I tested again on cd 46, and it was clear enough that I knew it was for real.

OMG, I don't feel so crazy after reading this thread. I took two over the weekend (one Sat, one Sunday) and then another one today because I couldn't really believe it and I wanted to make sure. I used a different brand, because, you know, the other two were from the same box so they could both have the same defect, right???

I confess that I'm a bit of a POAS addict here, and also a lab rat in a former life so I love watching the lines appear and all that. I think I'm done, though. I'm really (almost) convinced it's true... *grin*

6 now. Ha. I'm obsessed. Well I have to keep convincing myself that it isn't a fluke!
But one of them was the digitial one and it turned off and the word "Pregnant" is gone now so I don't think that counts anymore.

Am I gross or does anyone else keep them around? I only did one with DD and I still have it 2 years later.
I have all three sitting in the medicine cabinet. The dollar tree will probably go in a memory box, and either the first or second (darker) of the internet cheapies will go in a journal or baby book. I don't think it's gross at all.
