Kombucha experiences?

I don't usually post or read here, although it looks like a wealth of infomation! But I have recently been introduced to Kombucha through my traditional foods network, and I would love to know more about it. It might have been discussed before, but I can't search for it. Anyone want to share info about it? I've read conflicting things about home-brewed Kombucha online and am not sure what to think... TIA!
