Went to the doc yesterday...80% effaced and 2 1/2 cm dilated! I told her that I was hoping baby would wait until after Friday because I need to do some last minute shopping (pj pants to wear around the hospital, small "big brother" gift for ds, tons of food because the cupboards are BARE), and she said that she thought I'd probably make it til Friday, but she wasn't sure how long after that he would stay put! I guess we will see!

Had some cramping this morning, which was not fun (all I wanted to do was sleep!), but it went away and I got our shopping done, though the bank account now lies in ruins! Bring it on, Baby!

I've been at 3cm and 75% effaced for more than two weeks. I've been at 2cm and 50% since my gbs test at 35 weeks. I fully expect to still be pregnant at my due date which is the same as yours (7/14). I've always dilated early but the earliest I've ever delivered is two days before my due date with my first. I was even a week late with my second.

Heck, at least it's three cm I don't have to do in labor.

Whoo hoo for things happening! I'm 4cm and 70% effaced right now, but not a whole lot is happening other than some light cramping. The waiting gets hard towards the end, doesn't it????
