Have any tips for NOT going into labor?

Strange request....but my dh had to go to Boston for work and he won't be back till tommorow night late : ....I went to the MW today and I'm 2-3 cm dilated and 70% effaced....which who knows what that means but I was hoping to hear "no action" ....I'll be sitting here on my butt if anyone has any advice :

don't get dehydrated: wow, sending you stay put vibes for the next 36 hours. hope your dh has a safe, quick trip.
