My feet grew!

I could cry. I've been wearing sandals for the past couple months so I didn't notice when it happened, but tonight after it stopped raining we took a walk and it was cold so I put on a pair of my clogs, they do not fit. I have quite a collection of Danskos, it's all I wear, I usually buy 2 pairs a year for the last 4-5 years. None of them fit except my sandals. What is sad is that I had large feet to begin with, I'm only 5'5 and wear a 9.5-10.

Oh, this was one of my biggest fears last pregnancy, and thankfully it didn't happen to me. I already wear a size 12!!!! It's hard enough to find a 12, but to find anything bigger? I'd pretty much be mostly stuck with men's shoes and maybe the occasional women's shoe ordered online. But bigger than size 12 is difficult to find. Department stores usually have up to size 10, and often even have size 11.

My mom said she was a size 8 pre-preg, and then when her feet grew, she ended up a size 10 and stayed there for life! I'm SOOOOO scared of growing 2 sizes like that!!!! I don't think I've ever seen higher than a size 13 women's shoe, and even that's difficult to find.

Anyway, I know how you feel, and I'm so sorry it's happening to you. Hopefully yours will shrink back down to normal size!

The same thing happened to me with my first and second pregnancies, and my feet went back to the pre-pregnancy sie by about 6 mos post partum. So there's hope

That happened to me last pregnancy - I was already an 11, so I ended up buying a pair of sneakers in the men's department!

Unfortunately, my feet never went back smaller - I have no idea what size I wear now. I wear sandals from the time the the snow melts until the first fall, and then that pair of sneakers the rest of the time (and one pair of dress shoes that were big before).

I hate shoes, though - so it's not a big loss to me. I'm sorry that you out so many shoe options. I hope you're one of the lucky ones that gets them to shrink back!

I'm in the big foot boat as well; I have been dropping big hints about buying myself a new pair of Birks to accomodate my growing hooves (11.5 / 12 Wide)

When my mom was pregnant with me, she went from a 5 to a 7 1/2 in shoes. I'm already a size 8, so I'm hoping they don't grow anymore! (I'm only 5'1"!)

hopefully they will go back from what I hear! I haven't had that problem .. at least that I know of because I wear flip flops all the time lol
